Terms of Service — monoink
Version 1.0
Agreement between you and the developer of monoink — an individual based in the Sultanate of Oman — governing monoink and monoink.app. By using the app you accept these Terms. Contact: support@monoink.app.
1. Accounts
You can use monoink without an account. An account (email/password, Apple, or Google) is needed to purchase and sync your unlocks across devices. You must be at least 13 (or your jurisdiction's digital-consent age) to create an account. Keep your credentials secure; accounts are personal and non-transferable.
2. License & ownership
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. The app, its code, design, and branding are ours. Your artwork is yours: drawings you create belong entirely to you, are stored on your device, and we claim no rights over them. Exported images may include a small watermark on the free tier.
3. Purchases (Pro unlock)
monoink is free to use. An optional one-time in-app purchase, monoink Pro, unlocks all premium features together — free-draw, the trace-template pack, custom nameplate engraving, and watermark-free sharing. The current price is shown in the app before you buy.
- One-time purchase. Pro is non-consumable: you pay once and keep the unlock. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews. Payment is charged to your Apple/Google account at confirmation.
- Restore. Reinstalling or switching devices? Use "Restore Purchases" in the app (or sign in) to recover your unlock — it's tied to your app-store account.
- Availability. An unlock applies for as long as we offer monoink and the relevant feature. If we permanently discontinue the app, access ends with it; we'll give reasonable notice.
Purchases are billed and refunded by Apple/Google under their policies — refund requests go to the store. Where required by law, your statutory refund rights are unaffected.
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to circumvent purchase verification, reverse engineer, or attack the Service; don't use the Service unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or defraud the purchase system.
5. Availability & changes
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or retire features over time. Features requiring our servers (sign-in, purchase sync) may have downtime; drawing itself works offline. For material discontinuations we will give reasonable notice (see the availability note in §3).
6. Disclaimers & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: implied warranties are disclaimed; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or data loss (please back up exported artwork you care about); our total liability is capped at the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and your mandatory consumer rights (including under EU or other local law, and any terms required by Apple/Google for app distribution) remain unaffected.
7. Termination
You may stop using the app anytime and delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive termination.
8. Governing law & disputes
Laws of the Sultanate of Oman; courts of Muscat — except where your country of residence grants mandatory consumer protections or venue rights, which remain unaffected. Contact support@monoink.app first; most issues resolve informally.
9. Changes to these Terms
Updates are posted with a new version note; material changes announced in-app; continued use is acceptance. Changelog: v1.0 — initial terms.
